The dress is chosen, as well as the shoes and the jewelry. The hair is put up in an elegant style. While some girls have all they need to prepare for prom night at their fingertips, others struggle to find their accessories and cannot afford the high prices at department stores.

One student organization is leading the way in enabling foster children to have dresses and other items for prom this year.
