2007 homecoming dresses

Singers stuff sold off IRVINGTON, N.J. It was part yard sale and part high-brow auction -- with the goods being sold having once belonged to Whitney Houston.

About 400 lots of items were sold off at auction today in Irvington, New Jersey. The stuff was sold to satisfy a 175-thousand-dollar debt on storage fees owed by Houston. Any money left over after the storage firm is paid off will go to the singer's company, Nippy Incorporated.

The auction drew about 200 people to a dim, dusty warehouse about 15 miles west of New York City. In addition to designer gowns owned by Houston, the auction included musical instruments as well as stuff you might find at a yard sale: water-damaged vinyl records and a beat-up looking coffee maker.
